Our presence at the IAA MOBILITY left a clear message: Catena-X has entered into a new phase and there is not turning back
The event brought together procurement leaders such as Dr. Gunnar Güthenke (Mercedes-Benz AG-Benz), Nicolai Martin (BMW Group), Dirk Große-Loheide (Volkswagen), Uwe Geissinger (Magna International), and Dr. Marcus Bollig (German Association of the Automotive Industry – VDA). Their message was unmistakable: Catena-X is the new industry standard for trusted data exchange across global supply chains.
On the Summit Stage, Oliver Ganser (Catena-X) and Frank Goeller Göller (Volkswagen Group) presented the first China–Europe pilot, in cooperation with CAAM and the VDA, with 25 companies already on board and more to come. The presentation received an excellent response from partners in China and other countries, demonstrating that Catena-X is becoming a truly global initiative.
In the afternoon, the Readiness Booster Fair brought this momentum to life with keynote speeches from Dr. Oliver Humpert, Dr. Jan Wehinger, Bernd Kremer, Maximilian Zipp, and Sebastian Dorner, moderated by Hanno Focken. More than 100 participants filled the room, engaging with onboarding experts, exploring real-world use cases, and taking their first steps into the ecosystem.
